Spreadsheets
In this unit, we learned how to make spreadsheets. We learned the purpose of excel and all kinds of spreadsheets. We also learned how to properly organize information. For this unit, we had to understand the needs for spreadsheet applications to documents. An important thing to learn was to organize and calculate data.
Spreadsheet Interface
We learned all of the important parts of the excel and Google Spreadsheet interface. Another thing we learned was how to differentiate between them. We also learned how to put in data into a spreadsheet and the basic format for the cell.
Formulas, Functions & Sorting
We learned how to put formulas into Google Spreadsheets and Excel Documents. This is used to help us save time for future documents. Basically, we learned how to use a spreadsheet as a calculator to do basic math. Another thing we learned was how to use the autosum button for simple math problems. The last thing we learned how to sort and filter features in Excel spreadsheets.
